Objective |
REGISTRATION AND FOREIGN LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION Language qualification requires the submission of a certificate in foreign language and/or the participation in the exam conducted by the DFL for the purpose of recruitment. ATTENTION! Students who gained O points at the exam conducted by the DFL have not fullfilled the language requirements at B2 level as described by CEFR (Common European Framework for Languages). Exams: Languages: French, Spanish, German, Russian, Italian, Ukrainian ─ 22nd April 2015 English - 21st April 2015
Essential information: There is only one language examination date! Note: The University Foreign Language Course Examination results are not to be taken into account.

Foreign Language Exam Registration or the submission of a certificate in foreign language by the respective date provided by the DFL. |
The level of foreign language shall be based on the result of the examination conducted by CUE DFL.
Foreign language qualification examination at the B2 level is done in writing and lasts 120 minutes. The exam is evaluated with the use of a 0 - 4 - 5 scale.
The exam consists of the following elements:
listening comprehension
grammatical and lexical test
reading comprehension
letter
Rules of examination entry:
On the day of the exam (date assigned by the office of DFL), upon examination room entry, the student will have to present an identity document. Foreign language certificates qualify a student as exempt from the foreign language qualification examination.
Certificates/copies should be submitted to the office of the DFL by 16th April 2015. In addition, foreign education diploma or a Modern Languages/Philology diploma exempt a student from the foreign language qualification examination / 6 pts. /
The results of the qualification examination conducted in January and May 2014 will be recognized in the current Study Abroad Scholarship qualifications. The certification does not exclude the possibility of an accession to the qualification examination on generally accepted principles. / points do not add up /

NOTE!
In view of the fact that some of the tests have a term of validity fixed for e.g. two years from the date of issue, we kindly ask that the students check the validity of the certificate. Certificates which expired will not be taken into account.
Submission of the certificate in the office of the DFL does not mean that the certificate has automatically awarded the student with an exemption from the foreign language qualification as the Study Abroad Scholarship Eligibility Requirement.
