Course completion is credited on annual basis: in each semester it is possible to earn a maximum of 100 points.
PLEASE NOTE: A NECESSARY CONDITION FOR PASSING THE SUBJECT IS TO EARN A MINIMUM OF 60% OF ALL POINTS (200 points being the maximum).
- An additional condition for obtaining the passing grade is participation in the classes. Within the language course, two absences without certification are permitted. Each following absence results in the deduction of 2 points (from the pool of 100 points).
- Second-year students: Based on current grades from the subject and the exam grade, ONE final grade for the “Foreign language 2” subject will be given, based on the criteria within the 200-point scale.
Extra points
- The language teacher is entitled to grant a maximum of 4 extra points to a student of full time first-cycle studies and uniform Master’s studies, and a maximum of 2 extra points to a student of supplementary (post-Bachelor) Master’s studies and part time studies.
- The decision on whether or not to grant extra points is at the sole discretion of the language teacher.
- The information about possible extra points should be communicated to the students at the beginning of each semester.
- Extra points should be recorded in a paper record sheet and in the Moodle platform as a separate category.
- The category of extra points should be added when calculating the total from categories including activities, tests, and negative points for absences.
- The total number of points earned during the semester may not exceed the maximum number of points prescribed in the Regulations.
